Technical Standards Workshop 3

[November 10, 2008, MIT, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA] 

The BioBricks Foundation, Inc. (BBF), is a not-for-profit organization founded to promote and protect the development, sharing, and reuse of BioBrick™ standard biological parts.  The BBF's goals are to provide stewardship in developing and promoting technical standards, in building and protecting a public commons of synthetic biological parts, and in supporting a vibrant community of biological engineers.

On Monday, November 10, 2008 in the Stata Center following the iGEM Jamboree, the BioBricks Foundation will host creators and enablers of BioBrick standard biological parts at its 3rd Technical Standards Workshop.


WORKSHOP GOALS 

Technical Standards
Develop standards of operation, characterization, and practice that are needed to enable the distributed and responsible development of BioBrick™ standard biological parts.


REGISTRATION 

BBF Members receive a FREE pass to the Workshop.  You must still register for the Workshop via this registration site.
